Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
Responsible for the security of Singapore's borders against the entry of undesirable persons and cargo through our land, air and sea checkpoints and also performs immigration and registration functions such as issuing travel documents and identity cards to Singapore citizens and various immigration passes and permits to foreigners.

Provides service in administering, assessing, collecting and enforcing payment of taxes

Handles labour, wages and employment matters in Singapore, such as issuance of work pass. Non-resident must hold a valid work pass before they can work in Singapore.
